Some people might remember me...some may not!

Some might remember me as being loud and funny...

Some might have seen the girl who lacked  confidence who would join in the "crowd" anyway......

But everyone has 2 sides to their personality.

I became more confident in myself in my 30's  than when I was in my teens and 20's.

I am a "people-person", and I rarely forget a face or name.

Every person that comes into my life whether I was a kid or grown-up, seem to remain in my memory for whatever reason?? 

 I don't know why?

It has always been in my nature to meet new people and also to want to bring people together from the past.

After leaving school, and working in various environments, I was always the one to organize night's-out and I loved it!

I went on to marry Mark and we have 3 great kids and he has always understood how I am.

I was in my "glory" organizing their parties and my sisters and brothers 21st's, 30th's, 40th's 50th's.

Then in 1995 I had the idea of "Lodge Park, Class of 1975 reunion"....

it was 20 years since we all left school!

I won't deny, it was hard work!

I got together a few old=mates to help and there were a few moments when they said "we should quit"...

But...I would not give up!

remember though that in 1995, we didn't have  a pc at home or friends-reunited.

It was a constant stream of phone calls after searching the phone directory.

(My husband was beside himself with worry that our phone bill would be "sky-high"!

Who cared? Not me!

WE got there in the end and had a great night which carried on to an after-party at Annette Griffin's house.

I also done a reunion for work-mates from C&K switches where I worked for 11 years.

That was for Lakelands Hospice where a colleague was suffering with cancer.

Another successful night!

Again in 2005, another Lodge Park reunion...30 years since we left!

Another great night!

So........this Lodge-Park 1970-1980 was just something I thought about randomly....honestly.....

Was I missing something to do?

Maybe?

So, I got in touch with Ian Bateman about it.....and....here we are!

FRI.5TH OCTOBER.2007............

Is going to be a fabulous night!
